At YorEnergy, we feel that upgrading your home should be straightforward and stress-free.
That’s why we’ve listened to homeowners' needs and challenges to design a seamless end-to-end process with support built in at every stage.
It contains 4 simple steps and multiple people who help make it seamless.

4 Easy Steps
Free Adviser Call
Free Home Assessment
Quotation and Supplier Selection
Installation and Completion

Retrofit Coordinator (optional)
For larger or more complex projects, a Retrofit Coordinator from our Supplier Marketplace can provide specialist oversight. Coordinators work closely with your adviser and assessor to develop tailored solutions, create detailed specifications for suppliers, and review quotes with you. They ensure work is completed in the correct order, to specification, and to the highest standard.

Designer
Your Account Manager is your dedicated point of contact from start to finish. They coordinate with your adviser, assessor, coordinator, and suppliers, keeping you informed at every stage and ensuring your project stays on track.
The YorEnergy team is here to guide you through your home retrofit journey, reducing hassle and keeping the process simple and stress-free. From understanding your needs to managing suppliers and installations, we make sure every stage is clear and well supported.
Here’s how our team supports you:
Meet The Team

Adviser
Your adviser is your first point of contact. They take the time to understand your goals, explain your options and guide you toward the right YorEnergy services. They are always on hand to answer questions and make sure you feel supported and confident from the very beginning.

Assessor
The assessor is a trained professional who will visit your home to carry out a detailed evaluation. They identify where energy is being lost and provide clear, PAS 2035-compliant recommendations tailored to your property. Their assessment forms the blueprint for practical and effective improvements.

Designer
The Designer is an optional specialist who turns your assessment into a clear plan of home improvements. They choose the right measures for your property, make sure they work safely together and create the design your installer will follow.

Coordinator
The Retrofit Coordinator is an optional specialist who provides oversight on more complex projects. They work with your adviser, assessor and designer to shape a clear plan, prepare specifications and review quotes. Their role is to ensure all work is carried out in the right order and to the required standard.
The four steps
Step 1
Initial Consultation
Get in touch via our online form, email or phone us to speak with one of our friendly YorEnergy advisers. They will take the time to understand your goals and ambitions for your property, learn more about your home and talk you through the solutions that could help. They will answer any initial questions and, when you are ready, arrange your free home assessment.

Step 3
Get quotes and select your supplier
Once you’re happy with the plan, we’ll share it with our marketplace of trusted, vetted suppliers to gather several competitive quotes for you to review. When your quotes arrive, your adviser will talk you through them, answer any questions and explain any finance or grant options you may be eligible for.
Before we request quotes, you’ll just provide a quick confirmation allowing us to share your details with our vetted suppliers. This also explains that a small service fee is payable if you decide to proceed with an installation.

Step 2
Free Home Assessment
One of our accredited assessors will visit your home to carry out a detailed assessment. They will identify where your property is losing heat, how it could be more energy efficient and highlight any grants or funding you may be eligible for. After the visit, you’ll receive an action plan with their findings and recommendations, which your adviser will talk through with you.
If your project involves multiple improvements or suppliers, you can choose to add a Retrofit Coordinator for extra oversight. They help ensure all work is carried out in the right order and to a high standard.

Step 4
Installation and Completion
Once you’ve chosen a supplier, they will begin installing your chosen improvements. Your YorEnergy adviser will check in throughout to make sure everything is progressing as expected and to answer any questions. If you’ve chosen to work with a Retrofit Coordinator, they will also support the installation by coordinating schedules and maintaining quality oversight.
When the work is complete, you’ll receive all the relevant documentation for your records. Your adviser will remain on hand to support you throughout the journey from start to finish, ensuring you feel informed and confident every step of the way.

Before you get in touch, have you tried our free plan builder? This is a great way to learn more about the right solution for your home
The builder will create a draft plan, giving you an idea of what options will suit your budget. Once the draft plan is submitted, our team will be in touch to discuss what the next steps will be.
